When you’re the leader of a category, people expect great things. We breathed new life into Dole’s entire fresh produce portfolio by redefining the shopping experience, introducing vibrant color to separate product types, adding appetizing photography of finished salads and icon images of ingredients to make the decision-making process simpler. A system competitors quickly copied. In refreshing the Dole logo we not only connected it to its fresh farming roots, we wrote guidelines and created a toolbox of assets to ensure consistent brand expression across all Dole packaging and communication worldwide. These efforts led to a 38% jump in sales with no marketing support and record sales.
